I JUST GOT CAST IN A FILM/TV SHOW WHERE I HAVE TO RIDE. CAN TES PREPARE ME FOR THE ROLE?

Of course! Most of our students enjoy riding as a hobby and do not compete.
WHAT ARE SOME COMMON HORSEBACK RIDING GOALS?
Learning to ride as a pleasurable weekly hobby
Fun extracurricular activity for students
Competing in schooling shows
Joining our IEA team (for 4th-12th graders) and competing against other riding schools.
Leasing a horse
Buying a horse
Preparing for a TV/Film role
Getting ready for an equestrian vacation
P.E. credit for charter school students
Improving physical fitness and confidence
Reducing stress by escaping city life for a few hours
WHY IS HORSEBACK RIDING SO EXPENSIVE?
Keeping horses, especially in the city, costs a lot of money.

Every month we have to pay board (rent), vet care, farrier (horse shoes), hay, supplements, grooming, equipment, etc...

And unlike a car, a computer or even a person, a horse can only work a few hours per week to cover their expenses.
WHY ARE YOU CLOSED ON MONDAYS?
TES is closed on Mondays to give the horses a day off after the busy weekends.
WHAT IS A TACK CLASS?
All new students are required to take a class when they start riding at TES. A tack class gives students an introduction to safety around horses and teaches them how to groom, saddle and bridle their horse.

After taking the tack class, students have the option of preparing their horse for their lesson (tacking).
