INTERSCHOLASTIC EQUESTRIAN

ASSOCIATION (IEA)

IEA provides an incredible opportunity to compete in horse shows without owning a horse.

Team TES is made up of students from around the Los Angeles area. Memberships are open to TES students who are in 4th-8th grade, 9th-12th grade or adults. Students must take at least one lesson per week at TES, and ride sufficiently to compete with the team.

RIDERS ARE SELECTED IN JULY.

Team TES competes in a minimum of five IEA shows in the regular season which runs September to January.

Qualified riders compete in the post season in the spring.

IEA LEVELS THE PLAYING FIELD.

Rather than be judged on how talented a horse you own, IEA horse shows are all about what you can do with what you are given.

Riders draw their horse from a hat. Given little to no warm up, riders are challenged to make the most of the horse they're given. Good sportsmanship is paramount to success.

Points are accrued both individually as a team. Qualifying riders compete in the post season.

WE BUILD EACH OTHER UP

Team TES has a no gossip policy. We are here to build each other up, wherever we are in our equestrian journey.
