What to expect in your first lesson
At TES, we make your first riding experience fun and confidence-building.
Your instructor will guide you through every step at a comfortable beginner pace.
Your first lesson includes:

30 minutes of one-on-one instruction

Meeting your horse and learning their personality

Safety basics

Mounting and dismounting with assistance

Walk and trot work

A gentle, supportive introduction to riding

Next steps in our 10-Level Rider Progression System
Please arrive 15 minutes early
to sign release forms and get fitted for helmets and boots
What to wear to your lesson
Riders should wear comfortable, form-fitting pants so they can move easily in the saddle. Hair should be tied at the back of the neck (no ribbons, bands or beads should be under the helmet).
We provide everything else.
