TES Welcomes Royal Veterinary College Students

Please join us in extending a warm TES welcome to three veterinary students from the Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom, who are joining us for their equine Animal Husbandry Extramural Studies placements!

Hosting Royal Veterinary College students has become an annual tradition at Traditional Equitation School, and we are delighted to once again participate in the education of future veterinarians. This year's students will be with us for placements taking place between August 24 and September 7.

The placements are a required component of the students' Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree and provide practical, hands-on experience in equine husbandry and management. During their time at TES, the students will work under the tutelage of our Barn Manager, Laura Marusich, and participate in the day-to-day care and management of our horses.

Their experience will include feeding, grooming, exercise programs, preventive care, farrier care, tack and equipment, stable management and the many other elements that go into caring for a large and diverse population of horses.

We are proud to provide an environment where future veterinarians can gain meaningful practical experience while learning from the horses and professionals who make up the TES community. Our continued relationship with the Royal Veterinary College reflects our commitment to equine welfare, education and the highest standards of horse care.
