If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to participate in a horse show, our upcoming TES Schooling Show Series is the perfect place to start.
Our first show is Saturday, May 3rd, and this one is all about dressage—a fun, welcoming, and goal-oriented way to improve your riding.
🐴 No Experience Needed
You do not need any dressage experience to participate. You can even ride in a western saddle if that’s what you’re comfortable in.
This is a relaxed, supportive environment designed for riders who are learning.

🎉 Why Try a Schooling Show?
1. It Gives You a GoalLearning a dressage test gives your riding purpose. Instead of just riding, you’re working toward a clear, measurable goal.
2. It Improves Your Riding QuicklyDressage is often described as the “ballet of horseback riding.”It builds balance, communication, and control—the foundation for all riding disciplines.
3. It’s a Fun, Social ExperienceYou’ll ride alongside other TES riders and be part of a positive, encouraging horse community.

🏅 A Great First Step Into Showing
Our schooling shows are designed to be:
Low-pressure
Beginner-friendly
Educational
Every rider who competes will receive a free TES t-shirt 👕

🌟 Curious About Showing or Dressage?
This is also a great opportunity to see if you might be interested in our IEA Dressage Team, which includes riders in grades 4–12 as well as adults.
The team forms in July, and several of our riders recently qualified for Zone Finals, with Nationals coming up soon.
Trying a schooling show is the perfect way to dip your toe in and see if it’s something you’d enjoy.
