TES Dressage IEA Team Delivers a Big Weekend in Two-Day Competition


What a weekend it was for The Traditional Equitation School Dressage IEA Team!

TES hosted a two-day IEA Dressage competition, welcoming seven visiting teams, with eight teams competing in total—including our own TES riders. From the opening salute to the final scores, the competition delivered exciting rides, strong performances, and major momentum as the postseason approaches.

And when the dust settled on Saturday, TES stood tall—earning Reserve Champion honors in a deep and competitive field. A standout performance that speaks to the strength, consistency, and depth of our dressage program.

⭐ Big Wins and Podium Finishes

One of the highlights of the weekend came from Edyn Joseph, who rode to a 1st place finish in the Varsity Intermediate Test, setting the tone with a confident, polished ride. Edyn also added a 5th place finish in the Varsity Intermediate DSE, showing versatility and grit across multiple classes.

The Varsity Open riders were right in the mix as well:

In the Varsity Intermediate Test, TES continued to rack up results:

TES riders showed depth from top to bottom, with solid finishes across JV, Future Novice, and Future Beginner divisions.

Consistency, composure, and determination were on full display, especially from riders competing over both days.

🏁 Eyes on the Postseason

With this strong showing, TES riders continue to gain valuable points toward qualifying for the IEA Zone Finals, keeping the team firmly in the hunt as the postseason approaches. Every test, every placing, and every ride matters—and this weekend delivered across the board.

From hosting duties to high-level competition, TES once again demonstrated what makes our program special: preparation, sportsmanship, and riders rising to the occasion.
