What About Wednesdays?

Wednesdays are wonderful at TES.

Wednesdays are wonderful at TES.

When choosing a day for riding lessons, flexibility and options can make all the difference—and Wednesdays offer the most of both.

At The Traditional Equitation School, Wednesdays consistently have the greatest lesson and horse availability. That makes them a practical and appealing option for riders and families looking for scheduling ease, whether you’re riding once a week, coordinating multiple riders, or exploring leasing.

Easier Scheduling for Families

Because of the increased availability on Wednesdays, it’s often easier to:

  • Schedule two family members at the same time

  • Book back-to-back lessons

  • Find lesson times that fit smoothly into busy school and work schedules

For families with more than one rider, Wednesdays can simplify the logistics.

A Great Day to Explore Leasing

If you’re interested in leasing a horse, Wednesdays are an excellent day to look at options. With more horses available, it’s often easier to:

  • Find lease availability

  • Ride a specific horse you’ve bonded with

  • Build a consistent lesson and lease routine

Wednesday Group Lessons

Wednesdays also offer intermediate group lesson options for riders who enjoy a longer ride in a small group setting.

Current Wednesday group lessons:

  • 9:00 AM – Intermediate Group Lesson

  • 6:15 PM – Intermediate Group Lesson

These classes are for Level 5 and higher riders who are walk, trot, canter.

Group lessons:

  • Are one hour long

  • Cost the same as a private 30-minute lesson

  • Are kept small to ensure quality instruction

They’re a great option for riders who want more saddle time while riding alongside peers at a similar level.

A Flexible Place to Start

All lesson days at TES offer the same quality instruction and experience—Wednesdays simply offer more choices.

If you’re looking for flexibility, coordinating lessons for multiple riders, interested in leasing, or curious about group lessons, Wednesday is a great place to start.
